Accurate fingerprint capture

The Live10R optical scanner captures high-resolution fingerprint images at 500 dpi using a 2MP CMOS sensor, producing 300×400 pixel images (FAP20). It copes well with dry, wet and rough fingerprints for quick, consistent enrolment.

Developer-friendly integration

A free SDK is supplied to add biometric functionality to Windows, Android and Linux applications. The USB 2.0 Type-A connection provides both data and 5V power for straightforward setup on desktop and mobile devices.

Compact, low-power and durable

Measuring 75.5×53.2×19mm the scanner is compact for desktop or tablet use. Power consumption is low — 5V at 200mA while scanning and 60mA at idle — and it offers splash resistance plus operation across a wide temperature range. Note: this model does not include live‑finger anti‑spoofing detection.
