This traditional chess set is handcrafted using moulding, grinding and spray-paint processes to create a classic finish. Each piece and the board are finished by hand, so small variations are to be expected and add character.

Board and pieces dimensions

The folding chessboard measures approximately 39 x 39 x 2.5 cm and the complete set weighs about 1.2 kg. Piece heights are: King 7.9 cm, Queen 7.3 cm, Bishop 5.9 cm, Knight 5.3 cm, Rook 4.3 cm and Pawn 4.0 cm.

Care, contents and notes

Supplied as one complete chess set ready for play. The pieces are non-magnetic for traditional play; please allow for slight measurement tolerances and colour variation due to handmade production and lighting. Recommended for ages 14 and up.
